At Bardstown Blacktop & Sealcoating, we offer several convenient payment options to accommodate your needs. You can choose from the following methods to make payment for our services:

1. Cash: Payments can be made in person using cash.
2. Check: Payments can be made by check. Checks must be postmarked by the 15th calendar day following the completion of the work and notification to the client unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Once we receive the check, an invoice will be issued as proof of payment.
3. Credit Card: We accept credit card payments, with a processing fee of 2.9% added to the total amount of the quote. This fee is non-refundable and will be included in your final invoice amount.
4. Debit Card: Debit card payments are also accepted, with a processing fee of 1% added to the total amount of the quote. This fee is non-refundable and will be included in your final invoice amount.
5. Financing: If you require financing, Bardstown Blacktop & Sealcoating LLC offers financing options. You must be pre-approved for financing before work begins. If pre-approval is not obtained, the contract will be considered null and void. A 3.9% financing fee will be added to the total quote amount if financing is used.

1. Military Veterans, Active Duty, and First Responders: We offer a 10% discount on our services to United States Military Veterans, Active Duty Members, and First Responders. We sincerely thank you for your service and dedication to protecting and serving our nation and communities.

Asphalt Maintenance Discount: We also provide a 15% discount on asphalt maintenance services, including sealcoating, crack filling, and line striping, for clients who have previously used our paving services. This discount is our way of ensuring that your investment in paving is protected and maintained at a lower cost.

For light to medium traffic driveways and parking lots, the Contractor recommends sealcoating new asphalt one year after paving, again around years 4-5, and again around years 9-10. After that, sealcoating should be performed as needed to extend the life of the asphalt. For highly trafficked driveways and parking lots or those that experience heavy loads, the Contractor recommends sealcoating once a year.

Generally, a professionally applied sealcoat can last anywhere from 1 to 5 years, depending on the quality of the sealcoat product used and other conditions. However, the lifespan of your sealcoat depends on a few key considerations:

1. Traffic Volume: High-traffic areas, such as busy parking lots or driveways with frequent vehicle use, will experience more wear and tear. This can shorten the lifespan of the sealcoat compared to surfaces with lighter traffic.
2. Weather Conditions: Exposure to harsh weather conditions, like extreme heat, freezing temperatures, or heavy rainfall, can affect the durability of the sealcoat. UV rays from the sun can also cause the sealant to deteriorate over time.
3. Quality of Asphalt Surface: The condition of the asphalt before sealcoating plays a crucial role in its longevity. Cracks, potholes, and other damages should be repaired before applying the sealcoat to ensure optimal adhesion and protection.

Spraying allows us to apply the sealcoat more evenly and at a thicker rate, ensuring a longer-lasting, higher-quality finish. The Client is responsible for ensuring that all parking lots, driveways, and other work areas are fully cleared of vehicles and any other obstructions prior to the Contractor’s scheduled arrival.

A clean and well-maintained parking lot or driveway is essential not only for making a positive first impression on your customers and visitors but also as a crucial step before applying any asphalt maintenance services. At Bardstown Blacktop & Sealcoating, we offer comprehensive parking lot and driveway cleanup services as apart of our pricing to ensure your surface is properly prepared for treatments like sealcoating, crack filling, and line striping. A clean surface allows these maintenance services to adhere better and last longer, ultimately protecting your investment.

The Contractor will ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and will obtain any permits necessary to comply with such regulations.

The Contractor is not responsible for any damages to underground utilities, pipes, septic systems, or other underground structures that are not clearly marked or identified by the Client prior to the commencement of work.
