For this project, we cleaned, prepped, sealed, and striped a commercial parking lot in Brannon Crossing, KY.
At Jake’s Cigar Bar in Nicholasville, we completed a full sealcoating, line striping, and crack filling job to improve the durability and appearance of their parking lot. We recommend sealcoating asphalt in the first year after paving and every 3-4 years after to maintain its protection. Regular sealcoating, at least three times in the first ten years, helps preserve the surface and prevent cracks. In high-traffic areas, more frequent sealcoating is crucial for maintaining optimal condition. By working with Jake’s, we ensured their parking lot is well-protected for heavy use.
While working on a parking lot in Brannon Crossing, we faced extensive surface debris and oil stains that required extra preparation. The lot had heavy traffic wear, and certain areas had stubborn grime that standard cleaning couldn’t fully remove. To ensure proper adhesion, we applied a specialized degreaser and used high-powered pressure washing. With businesses open, we also had to block and monitor traffic to ensure safety for both drivers and our crew. Despite these challenges, our team took the time to prep the lot properly, resulting in high-quality sealcoating and crisp line striping that enhanced the parking area’s durability and appearance.
